Trying out The Potter Games, a very ambitious fan site which mixes, you guessed it, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games by throwing Hogwarts students into the arena. Looks like it can be a lot of fun! I’m playing as Ginny Weasley for the moment.

The Hunger Games

I’ve began to read the second book in the Hunger Games series. Can’t believe I didn’t know about these books until recently. So so good! Definitely a must read.

As a lot of people have said before the concept of the book is very similar to Battle Royale. I’ve seen Battle Royale and I’ve also read the manga, but I don’t think The Hunger Games is a rip of. The atmosphere and mood of the books are very unlike each other and so are the characters we get to know.

So if you don’t want to read the books because you’re a hardcore BR-fan or if you just haven’t read them yet: read them. You’ll like them.

Some amazing person who was at the Pottermore press conference defied the rules and TOOK A VIDEO OF a DEMO of the website! There is SORTING as well as adventuring around the website! Go comment and link the video because I feel whoever did that needs as much recognition as they deserve. Unless they get too much and then WB and Sony take the video down… awk.
